The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for working with our Growth Initiatives and Technology teams to orchestrate Lessenâs SaaS productsâ go-to-market plans, including our L360 client SaaS product and our LPro vendor SaaS product. This role requires an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach, and an ability to closely collaborate in a matrixed cross-functional environment. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with our leaders from the Growth Initiatives team to support the overall growth of Lessenâs SaaS business as it applies to our residential and commercial real estate business, as well as how it applies to our vendor community.
This role will work on a number of deliverables ranging from collateral and presentations to messaging support for promotion, product related content to support ad campaigns, email campaigns, events, conferences, and thought leadership. Strong project and program management skills are essential, as is a proven track record managing product marketing roadmaps and supporting market development activities and product launch activities for SaaS products in the Property Technology space.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate closely with Lessenâs Growth Initiatives teams to define product roadmap and launch plans and programs to drive the adoption of Lessen SaaS products.Maintain a product marketing calendar/roadmap of new & recurring products and enhancements, and what supporting marketing activities are plannedWork with all stakeholders to define and maintain product-related messaging for Lessenâs technology.Collaborate closely with Lessenâs commercial and residential marketing directors to manage all marketing deliverables associated with product launchSupport Lessenâs commercial and residential marketing leaders to coordinate how Lessenâs technology is positioned, messaged, communicated, and sold.Develop product-related content that supports client acquisition, retention, and growth and that supports the overall goals of Lessenâs commercial and residential business.Work closely with our design services team to ensure that our products and technology present a consistent brand image.Develop product/technology subject matter expertise for Lessen SaaS products, and act as a product/technology subject matter expert to our marketing team.Oversee multiple marketing projects, executing deliverables on time, with quality, and on budget, providing input and execution advice on strategies that optimize messaging, and that deliver on campaign/project performance.Support public relations and content marketing activities with content that supports branding and thought leadership.Limited travel is expected, primarily to support marketing events, and to participate in team meetings at our Chicago, IL and Scottsdale, AZ offices. You Should Have:
Bachelorâs degree in business, computer science, or a related field required (concentration in marketing preferred)Masterâs degree in marketing or business administration preferredMinimum 6 years of product marketing experience with at least 4 years with SaaS requiredHands-on experience directly supporting sales teams for enterprise and SMB customersProven track record of executing effective product marketing programs for B2B companiesKnowledge of B2B, large-ticket sales cycles, and SMB sales cyclesA marketer who loves using technology to change the world, but who is skilled at presenting those details at the proper level of abstraction to differing audiences.A general understanding of agile processes, and agile product development environments Role Specific Skills:
Familiarity with commercial or residential real estate property management technology, property maintenance technologies, and/or vendor management technologies.Experience defining programs and launching SaaS productsExperience developing winning product presentationsStrong Marketing acumen with the ability to define the target customer, product value proposition, and identify great product market fitPresentation development and written communications via advanced PPT, Word, and ExcelExperience facilitating planning and product launch activitiesAn overall understanding of how SaaS products are marketed successfully to large enterprises and to small/medium businessesExperience utilizing a workflow and project management tool (e.g. Wrike, Asana, Monday, Trello,)Ability to manage multiple details, deadlines, and demands under pressureSelf-starter who goes the extra mile and brings fresh, exciting ideas to the tableHighly collaborative, positive, and energetic#IND1 Additional Information
