As an Event Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting Pivotal marketing events. These events range from major airshows to smaller private events hosted by the company. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including packing and driving a truck to transport equipment to venues; assisting with aircraft, ground operations, and booth setup; meeting with customers at events to share your passion for Pivotal aircraft; and maintaining equipment, tools and charging systems. This position requires physical activity, excellent communication, planning skills, and a love of aviation.
Responsibilities
Assure readiness of aircraft, demo equipment, and marketing material in advance of selected eventsCustomize packing lists in accordance with the needs of each eventTransport aircraft equipment and materials to venues primarily for external marketing events, and, as available, for internal flight operations and trainingAssist with aircraft packing, unpacking, assembly, charging, and disassembly as well as both setup and teardown for eventsCollaborate with the flight operations, marketing, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and smooth execution of all tasksExecute customer-level and operational-level maintenance procedures to keep aircraft airworthy and available for flight in compliance with FAA Part 103 regulationsCollaborate with the maintenance and repair team to ensure efficient and smooth diagnostics and repair of any aircraft issuesMeet with customers at events to convey the value of Pivotal aircraft, learn about their needs, and develop their interest in becoming customersManage vehicle rentals and returns when necessaryMaintain a clean and organized workspace at Pivotal HQ, including vehicles, equipment, and storage areas Qualifications
Hands-on experience with mechanical systems including cars, bicycles, aircraft, or other types of vehicle maintenanceExperience driving pickup trucks, panel trucks, and pulling trailers (typically 16â cargo trailers)Experience with live event operations or a related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teamsAbility to solve problems proactively, escalate concerns, and request assistance when neededFlexibility to work a full-time schedule with weekend and evening availabilityAbility to travel outside the Bay Area for up to a week at a timeValid driver's license with a clean driving record Bonus Qualifications
