This is a regional sales leadership role for our Enterprise Sales team in the Western United States. The position is remote in the US with regional travel, and you will have the opportunity to be a part of building your team! This is an exciting chance to be at the forefront of growing enterprise sales for one of the largest and fastest growing Travel and Expense SaaS companies out there, calling on some of the biggest organizations in the world, and leading and mentoring an exceptional team to success.
What You Will Do
Manage, mentor, develop, and motivate sales managers and team members to drive successDevelop and execute best practices and sales strategiesEstablish and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, and partners as well as foster a collaborative culture within your own team and across the organizationManage recruiting and hiring sales team membersSet and deliver on competitive quotas, objectives, and key results for the teamParticipate in management meetings to ensure good context about current status and priorities in the businessWork closely with Sales Operations for progressive personal development and best practices on improving sales effectiveness and efficiencyDevelop and implement best practices to maximize pipeline creation and customer conversion ratesCreate and execute sales strategies to grow revenues within the customer base as well as through new customer acquisitionWork with Marketing to establish business unit Go To Market (GTM) strategy, aligning ideal customer profile (ICP) with target markets to drive messaging and product that aligns with the greatest market opportunity for target segments, verticals and/or geographiesEstablish executive-level relationships with prospects, customers, and partners to help accelerate individual opportunities and advance customer relationship; actively participate in and/or close deals, and lead prospect presentations as neededEffectively and accurately manage forecast and pipeline reporting as well as the monthly and quarterly performance of the team utilizing SFDCWork with Implementation and Support team leaders to ensure new customer sales are set upfor successLeverage channel partners for leads and expand sellingRegional travel required regularly; overnight travel required What You Bring
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in leading/managing quota-carrying enterprise cloud software sales teamsA track record of proven success growing and building sales teams, preferably in the SaaS Travel and Expense Management or ERP industriesTechnically savvy, experienced with the cloud, APIs, communications, and enterprise softwareAbility to influence and build relationships with people across all levels of an organization, internally and externallyExceptional oral and written communication skillsCreative, critical thinker with customer service mindsetAbility to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentResults driven, detail oriented, and organized self starterOutstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity Additional Information
