The Director of Analytics will lead the organizationâs analytics strategy, aligning it with business goals to drive data-driven decision-making across all departments. This role is critical for overseeing the analytics team, managing key stakeholders, and developing a long-term analytics roadmap that empowers business growth and performance optimization. The Director will also work closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure the data infrastructure supports the company's analytics needs while upholding data governance and ethical standards. Ability to work hands on in the environment is preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Strategic Analytics Vision: Lead the development and execution of the organizationâs analytics strategy, ensuring it aligns with broader business objectives and drives actionable insights across all teams.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the analytics team, including the Senior Business Analyst, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and support to deliver high-quality analytics projects. Collaborate with members of the analytics team to plan sprints and ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior executives and key business leaders to define analytics initiatives, translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions, and maintain alignment between business strategies and analytics capabilities.
Analytics Roadmap: Develop and maintain a strategic analytics roadmap, prioritizing projects based on business impact, complexity, and available resources, while ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions.
Collaboration with Data Engineering: Partner closely with the Manager of Data Engineering to ensure that the organizationâs data infrastructure supports the analytics team's needs and scalability goals.
Data Governance & Ethics: Oversee the implementation of robust data governance policies within the analytics team to ensure the ethical, legal, and accurate use of data across all analytics initiatives.
Quality Assurance: Implement appropriate policies, processes and procedures to effectively monitor both data and deliverable quality. Define clear escalation paths for quality issues.
Performance & Reporting Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the analytics team to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality insights and the ability to measure the impact of analytics initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in analytics, business intelligence (BI), and emerging technologies, and continuously integrate new methodologies to keep the organization at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.

Senior Data Engineer & Associate Principal Developer, Business Intelligence: Collaborate closely to ensure data pipelines are optimized and meet the needs of the business intelligence infrastructure, aligning technical solutions with business requirements.
Manager, Data Engineering: Work together to ensure the data engineering team delivers scalable, robust solutions, and that analytics initiatives are supported by a strong data foundation.
Senior Business Analyst & Manager, Data Engineering: Foster collaboration to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into data-driven solutions and ensure the necessary data infrastructure is in place to support analytics efforts.
Years Experience: 5 years of experience into people management role
Certifications: Certified Analytics Professional
