Junior Software Engineer

Weâre seeking a junior software engineer for product engineering - core sales CRM area to join our ongoing quest to create the most epic, innovative sales management solution around.

How we work:

Our engineering team is comprised of a number of tribes that operate independently, making sure we benefit from flat hierarchies and scalability. Each tribe is a self-sufficient unit with full ownership of its area. Developers have a lot of freedom: they get to pick missions to work on, and when theyâre done with a mission theyâre back at the launchpad keeping the show on the road and recovering before the next mission.

At Contactivity, we apply our expertise to help our customers plan and communicate within Pipedrive. We own features such as activities, contacts, calendar management, video calling integrations, scheduler, and more to streamline and optimize sales communications.

Youâll be joining one of our most versatile tribes, and as our business continues to grow, youâll have the opportunity to take on new roles and interesting challenges.

The technologies we use:

Front End â Javascript, Typescript, React.js

Back End â Node.js, Typescript, Golang and some PHP

Other â MySQL, CouchDB, Redis and Kafka

Your new adventure:

Work independently in a tribe and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner

Do code reviews and provide feedback to your peers

Write automated tests

Deploy to production and maintain monitoring

Be on call when itâs your turn, react to alerts and resolve production incidents

Continuously improve your stack and pay off technical debt

Think multi-regional, highly available and scalable

Does this sound like you?

Excellent spoken and written English

Proven software development experience

Experience with Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, React.js

Experience with some of the following technologies: Golang, PHP (7+), MySQL, CouchDB, Redis, Apache Kafka

Ability to work in areas outside of your comfort zone and to get things done quickly

Good understanding of security threats

Interest in and past contributions to the open-source community is a huge plus

Experience with multi-regional cloud-based services is a huge plus
