Position Summary:

The Sales Order & Logistics Specialist is responsible for supplying accurate data and administration concerning business processes related to the order entry, prioritization, and supply chain fulfillment cycle. This is an intermediate level position for an individual who possesses a practical understanding of ERP system navigation. Proficiency in warehouse logistics and experience with excel formulas strongly desired. This a team-oriented position, collaborating within Sales Operations and with Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Management, IT, Sales and other internal departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform item allocation on product skus according to fulfilment strategy, and monitor items where demand far exceeds supply to suggest allocation strategies. • Perform item cancellation or rebooking in response to product lifecycle management. • Respond to both inside and outside sales and customer service inquiries. • Evaluate inventory for sales order organization swapping to maximize shipments. • Facilitate inventory movements and sales order line swapping for Marketing and Engineering requirements. This applies to items that require inspection prior to shipment. • Reprioritize and facilitate shipment of sales demand to meet event and/or priority deadlines. • Ensure effective and timely communication to Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Management, Sales, and various departments to guarantee coordination of order fulfillment efforts. • Work with inside sales operations and supply chain on non-compliant orders to provide direction on how to resolve issues in a timely manner. • Support or manage other ad hoc projects as needed. • Engage in Continuous Improvement projects and tasks. • Participate in and sustain 5S Standards. • Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures. • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education/Experience & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree, and 2-4 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Proven ability in working with system enhancement projects.
• Ability to prepare strong business cases and to support and defend ideas and changes.
• Champion for new initiatives with the ability to successfully work across different groups and to execute by bridging functional and divisional silos.
• Proficient in Excel and experience with SQL and Agile a plus. Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems is required, preferably Oracle.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines accordingly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong time-management skills and ability to identify order fulfillment bottlenecks and stay on top of open items.
• Help in other parts of the team regularly, work with and relay information to other departments on a regular basis.
• Identify and analyze complex problems and communicate findings and solutions clearly to key stakeholders.
• Participate in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintain the area in good working order through sustainment activities.
• Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, in English, both verbally and in written form.

Working Conditions:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
• Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
