Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking an eDiscovery Manager, Matter Management, to join our Global Legal Organization located in the United States. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

The eDiscovery Manager will provide discovery operational support across Litigation Practice Groups, including Product Liability, Employment, Intellectual Property, Complex Commercial Litigation and Government Investigations. The individual will work with the eDiscovery team, litigators, paralegals, outside counsel and other stakeholders throughout all stages of discovery for matters within the U.S., and cross-regionally when required. The eDiscovery Manager will be responsible for delivery of practical and timely management of services, which may include data identification, preservation, collection, analysis, processing, review, and production efforts. The position will also escalate challenges, as appropriate, to the Senior eDiscovery Manger and eDiscovery Leadership, and will collaborate to implement solutions.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
 working directly with case teams to provide project management and process oversight for assigned litigations and investigations throughout all phases of discovery, and across business sectors.
 participation in early case assessment, including facilitating interactions with potential custodians and central data source stakeholders.
 overseeing progress on assigned litigations and investigations, and responsibility to manage adjustments to supplier activities as necessary to meet timelines and achieve objectives.
 partnering with their manager and Information Technology experts to help design and oversee periodic enhancements to data collection approaches and strategies, as well as work on initiatives to continually improve the processes governing discovery activities.
 collaborating with case teams to select the most efficient third-party vendors and processes to meet matter needs, and as necessary, supporting financial oversight by outside counsel throughout the stages of the eDiscovery process.
 contributing to and supporting eDiscovery group operational initiatives and staying current and knowledgeable about eDiscovery industry, tools, and technical solutions.
Qualifications: Â A minimum of a BachelorÂs Degree is required. A Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred. Â Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industry is preferred. Â A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience is required. Â A minimum of 4 years of experience managing large complex legal discovery and legal document review projects for or on behalf of large corporations is required. Â Comprehensive knowledge of discovery processes, issues, trends, and applicable technologies is required. Â Highly developed organizational, project management, and written and oral communication skills are required. Â Ability to work in a highly matrix environment is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$100,000-$172,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporationÂs performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the CompanyÂs discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
