Part-Time Remote Research Associate – PK-3 Credential Program

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Research Associate to support a mixed-methods research study on the PK-3 Credential Program. This position will play a key role in participant recruitment, instrument design, data collection, analysis, literature review, and publication preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and an interest in early childhood education and teacher preparation.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead mixed-methods research activities, including qualitative and quantitative data collection. • Recruit research participants (educators, administrators, program stakeholders). • Design research instruments (surveys, interviews, document analysis protocols). • Conduct data collection and analysis, including survey distribution, interviews, and document reviews. • Perform literature reviews on PK-3 teacher preparation, early childhood education, and credentialing programs. • Prepare research reports, publications, and presentations based on findings. • Collaborate with faculty and research teams on research dissemination efforts.

Minimum Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Educational Research, Social Sciences, or a related field. • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods. • Proficiency in survey development, interview protocols, and data analysis. • Strong skills in literature review, academic writing, and publication preparation. • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing research tasks and timelines. • Familiarity with NVivo, Dedoose, SPSS, R, or other qualitative/quantitative software. Experience conducting research on teacher preparation, credentialing, or early childhood education. • Preferred Qualifications: • Doctoral degree (or ABD) in a related field. • A record of publication in peer-reviewed journals or research reports. Prior experience in grant-funded research projects

Compensation & Duration:
• Hourly Rate: $25–$40 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).
• Start Date: Immediately
• Work Period: March 2025 – December 2025, with the possibility of contract renewal based on funding.
