Currently, we are seeking an Apple MacOS Desktop Support III for a full-time hybrid position as part of an ongoing contract in Seattle, WA. Please note: all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and hold or be able to hold a current, Public Trust and DoD 8570-compliant certifications. The successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check. This will take several weeks, and the candidate cannot begin actual employment until the background check is successfully completed.
Responsibilities
 Providing technical assistance to users experiencing issues with their Mac computers, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, installing updates, configuring settings, and resolving network connectivity issues.

 Diagnosing and resolving issues related to macOS operating system, applications, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity.

 Deploying updates, patches, and new software applications on Mac systems.

 Identifying and addressing hardware problems with Mac devices, including peripherals.
,
 Providing basic training to users on macOS features and functionalities.
,
 Managing user accounts, permissions, and access levels on Mac systems.
,
 Implementing and monitoring security measures to protect Mac systems from threats.
,
 Logging and managing support tickets through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.

 Working with other IT personnel to address complex issues and coordinate system deployments.
Requirements
 3-5 years in Mac desktop support or enterprise environments.

 Experience in automation using tools like Automator, Apple Configurator, or scripting languages.

 Proven experience managing enterprise-scale macOS deployments.
,
 Strong mentorship skills for guiding Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
,
 Excellent written documentation skills for knowledge base articles.
,
 Strategic thinking for improving workflows and system configurations.

 Proficiency in macOS command-line tools and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or AppleScript).

 Advanced expertise with device management tools like Jamf Pro, Kandji, or Workspace ONE.

 Experience in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory (AD) integration with macOS.

 Familiarity with security tools and protocols for macOS (e.g., FileVault, Gatekeeper, SIP).

 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language.

 Excellent organizational skills.

 Must be able to handle a high-stress environment.
Nice-to-haves
 Apple Certified IT Professional (ACTP).

 Certifications in MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf 200 or higher).
