What you will be doing
 Establishing and nurturing strategic alliances with state education officials, board members, and key decision-makers in your designated area
 Crafting state-specific strategies for charter approvals, guiding internal teams on local nuances and requirements
 Assembling diverse coalitions of parents, educators, and community leaders to showcase robust local backing for charter initiatives
 Designing and implementing comprehensive engagement plans for your state, maintaining active dialogue with key stakeholders
 Utilizing relationships to gather informal insights and guidance during the application process
What you will NOT be doing
 Concentrating solely on policy advocacy or legislative matters without direct business outcomes
 Confined to a desk  this role demands proactive interaction with officials and community leaders
 Engaging in general education policy topics unrelated to charter school approvals
 Managing federal education policy or Congressional affairs
Key Responsibilities
Develop and utilize strategic alliances with state education officials to secure charter school approvals, facilitating the expansion of our schools within your designated territory.
Candidate Requirements
 Proven success as a state-level lobbyist or advocate, especially in obtaining approvals/licenses from state government entities
 Pre-existing connections with state education officials in target states
 Proven ability to form local coalitions to bolster advocacy efforts
 Reside in California, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina
 Prepared and willing to travel within the region
 Eligible to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship
