Work Schedule
Tutors will need to be available to work 1 to 4 hour blocks of time Monday-Friday between 8 am and 3 pm. Tutors will also have the option to work after school hours from 3-4:30 pm Monday-Friday.

Required Qualifications
- Must have a 2.5 GPA
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours or more.
- Must be a sophomore or above in class year at KU
- Must be a Kansas resident, paying in-state tuition at KU

- Previous experience working with children
The Youth Educational Services (YES) Tutoring program hires KU students to work as tutors and mentors in local Lawrence public schools. Tutors provide before, during and after school tutoring services with kindergarten through high school students. We look for KU students in a variety of majors who have a strong dedication to helping youth and a desire to make a difference.
