Their events combine in-person and digital experiences to help customers learn about markets, source products and complete transactions. In short, they enable customers to make better decisions, get better results and be more productive.
We are seeking a Trusts and Estates Attorney on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This position will require reviewing and updating practical guidance and forms, an online legal product for attorneys, and creating new content, as needed. This is a contract position involving flexible hours (assignments can be completed as your schedule permits, as long as the deadline is met). This role is 100% remote.
What YouÂll Do
 Draft, review, and revise practical guidance articles on trusts and estates and probate topics
 Review and update wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
 Draft new forms, checklists, charts, and other how-to guidance on estate planning topics, as needed
 Supplement existing documents with state-specific practical guidance based on state law, local custom, and legal practice experience
Must Haves
 5+ years of experience as a practicing trusts and estates attorney
 Member, in good standing, of the Louisiana State Bar
 Substantive experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and other estate planning documents
 Excellent writing, editing, and legal research skills
 Comfortable working in Microsoft Word with track changes and conducting online research
 Effective written and oral communication skills
 Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
 Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks effectively
Education
 A Law degree from an accredited law school
Hours & Location:
 M-F, 15 hours/week. This role is 100% remote.
