Posted 2025-04-06Job Description Work Arrangement: Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. This position requires an employee to be onsite in Warren, MI three days per week, at minimum. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate. The Role: The Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) Field Action Bulletin Owner is responsible for writing and editing field action bulletins and customer letters. This position involves working with Product Investigators, Execution Leads, Engineering, Service Engineering, and Brand Quality. What Youâll Do: Write, edit, and acquire legal approval on field action bulletins, including Safety, FMVSS Noncompliance, Product Emission, Customer Satisfaction, Service Update, Special Coverage bulletins, and customer letters for field actions. Field Action data reporting for broader organization Communicate launch of field action to internal... personnel and to dealerships and respond to dealer inquiries about field action bulletins. Send GlobalConnect messages including the bulletin, customer letter, Frequently Asked Questions, and a VIN list on all field actions, as required. Work with the Technical Writer to acquire the service procedures and labor times. Work with Parts Alert Coordinator to confirm part readiness and part language prior to launching bulletin. Work with warranty team to acquire labor code(s) and ensure labor code(s) are active for launch of bulletin. Send draft bulletin for review to Subject Matter Experts to ensure accurate information. Compile and review all feedback. Additional Job Description Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): Strong command of the English language and the ability to present, write, and verbally communicate with a variety of different audiences. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively and efficiently cross-functionally and cross-culturally. Phenomenal teammate with excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, Power BI, etc.) Competence to identify unique situations and advance accordingly. Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment and work independently or with other team members. Bachelorâs Degree in English, Journalism, Creative/Technical Writing, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): Experience using GM data sites (i.e. QDAP) Authoring capability in the General Motors Global Service Authoring (GSA) system.
