Expected Duration: 6+ Plus Months (Contract) Job Type: (>=30 HOURS WEEKLY], [CONTRACT], [REMOTE] Pay Range: $15/hr to $16/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description: 3 weeks of training will be involved for this role, it is mandatory, and attendance is required every day throughout the entire training period; no absences will be permitted. Candidates should be comfortable working Alaska Standard Time hours. (8 AM to 5 PM Alaska Standard Time = 12 PM/01 PM EST to 09 PM/10 PM EST ) BR: Eric is working with Manager, will update you all once we receive it Job Summary: As a Customer Support Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers. clients, and stakeholders seeking assistance with Medicare, medical, or healthcare-related inquiries. You will provide exceptional service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and guiding individuals through complex healthcare processes. Key Responsibilities: Â Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding Medicare benefits, medical services, and healthcare plans. Â Experience with Medical or Medicaid is a valuable asset and preferred but not required. Â Provide accurate information about coverage options, benefits, eligibility, and claims processes. Â Assist customers in understanding and navigating the healthcare system, including Medicare enrollment, renewals, and appeals. Â Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Â Maintain detailed records of interactions, transactions, and follow-ups using company CRM systems. Â Collaborate with internal teams, such as billing, care management, and insurance departments, to resolve customer concerns and provide seamless service. Â Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations, Medicare policies, and company procedures to offer accurate guidance. Â Educate customers on preventive care services, wellness programs, and additional resources available to them. Â Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills related to healthcare and customer service.
Qualifications: Â High school diploma or equivalent; AssociateÂs or BachelorÂs degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred. Â Previous experience in customer support, particularly in the healthcare or insurance industry, is highly desirable. Â Strong understanding of Medicare, medical insurance, and healthcare processes is a plus. Â Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Â Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Â Proficiency in using customer support software and CRM systems. Â Empathy, patience, and a customer-focused attitude.
