What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Participate in client meetings to define communication requirements and present graphical concepts
• Write short articles and communications for review by senior team members
• Collaborate with the team to enhance change management efforts through visually appealing communications
• Create graphic visual representations of information for written materials, including emails and blog posts
• Design and edit professional documents and graphics in various formats and software

What Is Required (Qualifications)
• No formal workforce experience required; a robust graphic design portfolio and at least two writing samples are mandatory
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a similar field
• Excellent graphic design, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
• Familiarity with web content management systems like Drupal
• Knowledge of plain language guidelines and Section 508 compliance
• Portfolio showcasing diverse graphic design works
• Strong team collaboration skills
