The Enterprise FinOps team is a key pillar within the Global Infrastructure Product Services organization. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise FinOps Practitioner to join our dynamic team as a Senior Product Manager.
This role is essential for driving financial optimization and efficiency across our enterprise, ensuring that our public cloud investments align with our strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes, cloud financial management and the ability to leverage data analytics to drive cost optimization initiatives, and will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, and refinement of the tools and systems developed to facilitate cost attribution.
HereÂs just some of what youÂll do :
 Develop and implement strategies to optimize public cloud costs
 Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial best practices and cost management
 Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning
 Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
 Implement cost management and governance frameworks to control public cloud spend
 Utilize data analytics tools to generate actionable insights and reports on financial performance
 Create and maintain dashboards to visualize financial metrics and KPIs
 Communicate financial performance and trends to senior leadership and stakeholders
 Manage the product lifecycle for the tools and systems developed to facilitate cost attribution
 Work closely with Engineering, Finance, and Product teams, customers, key partners, and colleagues to define a product vision and strategy that is aligned with the high-level Enterprise FinOps roadmap
 Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote FinOps best practices across the organization
 Act as a liaison between technical and financial teams to translate financial objectives into actionable plans, including scenario modeling and cost estimation for public cloud workload requirements
 Lead the development and management of tools and systems for cost attribution and allocation
 Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design and implement solutions that accurately track and attribute costs
 Ensure that cost attribution tools are user-friendly, scalable and provide clear insights to decision-makers
 Continuously evaluate and improve cost attribution systems, practices and any other opportunities to meet evolving business needs
Are you up for the challenge? HereÂs what you should have :
 Deep knowledge of FinOps practices and frameworks
 Proven experience in financial operations, public cloud financial management or a related role
 Understanding of public cloud billing models (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including savings / discount plans, reserved / spot instances and tiered service offerings
 Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in data analytics, visualization and financial modeling tools
 Power User-level proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
 Ability to translate business requirements to product deliverables
 Expertise in Apptio Cloudability is preferred, Apptio TBM a plus
 Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable
 Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines
 Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs while maintaining focus on key objectives
 Ability to adjust the message, style, and tone of a communication to accommodate a variety of audiences
 Ability to quickly create relationships and build trust with internal and external stakeholders
Salary Range : $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
