The engineer will be responsible for maintaining and operating the data warehouse and connecting the available data sources. The company has successfully established a database containing over 200 mn business contacts, companies, and built-in customizable features. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a brilliant worldwide remote team in a Silicon Valley-backed organization.

Job Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines • Build new integrations to support rapid increases in data volume and complexity • Implement automated monitoring, alerting, self-healing features on the platform • Integrate processes and systems to monitor data quality • Ensure accuracy and availability of the data • Write unit/integration tests and contribute to engineering documentation • Define the data models and write jobs to... populate them • Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop a clear strategy

Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or a data facing role • Proven track record working in data pipelines and warehouses • In-depth skills in data warehousing • Excellent skills in data structures and algorithms • Sound ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Experience using the Python data stack, deploying and managing data pipelines is nice to have • Expertise in technologies like Airflow, Hadoop, and Spark is a plus • Understanding of streaming technologies is desirable (Kafka, Spark Streaming
