Business Development Representative (BDR)
Posted 2025-04-06As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base by focusing on sales to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). We're a small, remote-first team that values curiosity, integrity, and diversity. You'll have lots of freedom to choose your tools and approach, and your work will have a major impact on the business from your first day forward.
Responsibilities:  Proactively reach out to RIAs and introduce them to YourStake's innovative sustainable investing platform  Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs and demonstrating how YourStake can add value to their business  Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted outreach strategies and campaigns  Travel to industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and promote YourStake's offerings  Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company
Requirements:  2-4 years of... experience in the wealth management industry, specifically in a sales role  Proven track record of successfully selling to RIAs or other financial institutions  Outgoing, people-oriented personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Strong understanding of the RIA landscape and the unique challenges they face  Ability to travel frequently to attend ~a dozen conferences around the USA annually, to meet with prospective clients  Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for sustainable investing and making a positive impact  Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
