What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Handle incoming calls in a Call Center environment while maintaining 93% availability
• Greet patients, collect co-pays, and schedule follow-up appointments and referrals
• Support departmental clerical duties and ensure quality service to patients
• Provide timely and courteous assistance to patients requesting care
• Assist with maintaining patient confidentiality and good patient relations

What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Minimum of 6 months related experience
• Accurate computer and keyboarding skills
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
• Proficiency in operating telephone systems, PCs, printers, photo copiers, and fax machines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Some medical background preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
• Sensitivity in human relations and customer service skills
• Comfort in asking patients for co-pays and race collection
