Zorns is currently looking for a seasoned, mature, reliable, part-time, friendly, outgoing, experienced and responsible person to join us for our catering and take-home phone order position for our beloved 75+ year old, fast-paced and exciting take-out restaurant.

Must be punctual, have a “can do” attitude, and show up with a smile!

This is a part-time position and is an exciting chance to be part of a LI institution, beloved restaurant, and historical landmark – Zorn’s of Bethpage.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of one-year prior restaurant experience and/or previous customer service/phone experience highly recommended.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Taking phone orders with a friendly attitude

– Assisting customers to understand their needs

– Providing a great service experience for every customer

– Knowledge of the menu, answer questions and offer suggestions

– Ability to work in a team environment or independently

– Taking orders face-to-face

– Coordinate deliveries with drivers

– Various daily assignments

– Board of Health knowledge a plus – not mandatory (classes offered)

Job Type: Part-time, Weekend Availability

Hours Can Range Between:
11AM – 7:30PM, Closed Tuesdays
(shift / varies during holidays)

Work Remotely: No

Work Location: In person in Bethpage
