Job Summary
The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for building, maintaining and assisting with the design of Community Health Center, Inc. (CHCIÂs) provider scheduling templates. The PSC will ensure CHCÂs provider templates are built in accordance with CHCIÂS template guidelines, and raise concerns to his/her manager. The PSC will actively manage and take ownership of all assigned tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion as expected by the agency. The PSC will consistently demonstrate efforts to maintain and improve job specific competencies. The PSC may also take patient calls, or perform other tasks, as assigned by his/her manager or the VP of Practice Administration.
Role And Responsibilities
 Timely, efficient and accurate processing of template change requests, in accordance with CHCIÂs template guidelines. This includes escalating requests that require manager approval
 Performs periodic audits of provider scheduling templates to ensure compliance with CHCIÂs template guidelines and provides suggestions for improvement
 Tracks progress and completion of template change requests within CHCIÂs request application
 May assist with template design process
 Assistance with other tasks as assigned by manager, including answering and coordinating phone calls
Qualifications
Required Skills and Education
 Associates degree preferred
 Healthcare experience in Medical, Dental, or Behavioral Health preferred
 Experience with electronic medical record and practice management systems preferred
 Strong customer service skills
 Excellent verbal and communication skills
 Proven ability to multitask
 Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
 Hours may vary to accommodate operational needs between the hours of 7am  5pm Monday-Friday and 7am  4pm Saturday
 This position is 100% remote (work from home)
 Minimal physical effort. Must be able to operate computer and telephone continuously.
