Remote, USA Full-time Immediate Start

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. It drives us. And it inspires our Communications team to find ever-more creative ways to promote our work and share how people can get involved in making a difference to children's lives. Join the Media team as a Senior Media Officer and create work that means the world.

You will be working in a busy national media team that tells the charity's consumers (e.g. children, parents, teachers) about the work and importance of the NSPCC. This is a varied and exciting role that requires creativity and the ability to work across a range of teams.

There is no typical day in this team, but what you can expect includes:
• helping to decide the stories that form the Consumer Media calendar,
• selling stories in to national broadcast, print, online and new media, such as podcasts,
• leading on the consumer PR for fundraising moments, including our two largest campaigns, Christmas and our flagship, Childhood Day,
• working with the Lived... Experience team to share stories of adult survivors.

We're looking for someone who has:
• excellent cross-departmental working skills,
• the ability to be organised and keep their cool in stressful situations,
• creativity and a great eye for a story, whether that's through a PR moment or a data-driven story,
• passion about working with a children's charity and is a caring person who can work with a variety of individuals, including our two advisory boards made up of dynamic, young people.

Join us and you'll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You'll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that'll bring the best out in you. And you'll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives
