Skills
 Proven experience as a Typist, Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry Operator
 Fast typing skills; proficiency in touch typing is a plus
 Familiarity with data recorders and optical scanners
 Strong knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets
 Proficiency with office equipment
 Excellent command of the English language
 Attention to detail with the ability to spot grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
 Commitment to confidentiality
Responsibilities
 Convert data from paper formats into digital files or database systems
 Transcribe documents from dictated recordings
 Take detailed notes during meetings and create clear, organized texts
 Edit completed work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
 Gather and organize typing materials effectively
 Create spreadsheets and presentations by combining data from existing files
 Maintain both physical and digital filing systems
 Scan and print files as needed
 Uphold confidentiality in accordance with security policies
Qualifications
 High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is a plus
