Communities of color disproportionately bear environmental burdens. Without leaders who share the values of those communities, their challenges will remain. MobilizeGreen develops leaders who share the values of the communities most impacted by climate change...
The VirtualIntern, which is powered by MobilizeGreen, is launching the Building Capacity, Careers, & Community Internship Initiative, a cohort intern program that partners with nonprofits and other organizations to place college-level students in short-term, project-based virtual internships in communities across the country. The Initiative seeks to close the widespread Âcareer experience and Âeconomic opportunity gap for college-level students from underserved communities by removing barriers and helping them launch their careers through paid virtual internships.
