The Marketing Intelligence team plays a critical role in leveraging data to provide actionable insights and enhance our Marketing capabilities. We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Manager of Customer & Performance Data Solutions.
In this pivotal role, you will guide a dedicated team of data engineers focused on the seamless collection and integration of marketing data. You will be essential in managing core data functions that enable insightful business analytics and foster data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a strong seasoned background in data management and analytics, along with a deep commitment to innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management:
 Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and QA specialists.
 Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data solutions team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
 Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Data Strategy & Planning
 Develop and implement strategies for data ingestion, enhancement and utilization.
 Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and prioritize projects.
 Guide the Marketing department as a SME on data availability, usage and best practices.
Data Management
 Ensure seamless data collection and harmonization tailored for performance reporting.
 Oversee the development and maintenance of data acquisition pipelines, ETL processes and data storage solutions.
 Ensure data quality, availability, accessibility and accuracy through robust processes and checks.
Project Execution
 Manage and execute projects related to data solutions requests.
 Collaborate with internal and external teams to assess and scope data needs to meet business needs.
 Lead the automation of manual data processes, checks and audits to enhance efficiency and improve accuracy.
Innovation & Improvement
 Explore and implement new data analytics solutions and platforms to support data democratization across the department.
 Build data products for marketing-specific use-cases and business needs.
 Drive continuous improvement in data management practices and tools.

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)
 3+ years of experience in managing technical teams and projects
 4+ years of experience leading an Engineering team familiar with large cloud environments, Big Data technologies
 10+ years of development experience Teradata, SAS, SQL, Python
 Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
 Proven experience in leading and managing data engineering teams
 Verified track record of designing and implementing data platform migrations
 Ability to manage multiple parallel projects while delivering quality releases on schedule
 Deep knowledge of traditional data warehousing (models, practices, and processes), cloud-based data warehouses, data lakes, and data streaming
 Exceptional system design abilities, including high-scale ETL/ELT pipelines including leveraging python
 Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Teradata, Python, AWS S3 and Redshift or other data manipulation languages
 Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
 Excellent leadership, team management and interpersonal skills
 Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
 Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
 Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
 Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)
 Bachelor of Master of Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience required
 Experience working with large and highly complex data sets
 Experience working in marketing operations and the airline industry
 Familiarity working with DeltaÂs internal data ecosystem (ex: RPAD)
 Adobe Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud product experience
