(VIRTUAL) EL Certified Special Education Teaching Need in Michigan

Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher with an ESL certification looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across Michigan? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative special education teacher to join our virtual team. YouÂll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, youÂll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently.
Key Responsibilities: Â A licensed EL teacher will support 9 EL scholars. Â Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that IEP goals are met. Â Attending EL meetings biweekly, building-based ILP meetings, documenting services, and creating/maintaining ILPs. Â Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth. Â Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success. Â Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students. Â Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Qualifications: Â BachelorÂs or MasterÂs degree in Special Education. Â Active Michigan Special Education teaching certification (required). Â Experience developing and implementing IEPs. Â Prior experience working in a virtual setting is a plus. Â Strong knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA and 504 plans. Â Excellent communication and organizational skills. Â Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
Compensation:
 Competitive hourly pay (1099 contractor position).
