Special Education Teacher – Full-Time (Ohio)

Location: Ohio (Remote or In-person)

Hourly Pay: $36 - $41 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Ohio. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities • Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet the educational needs of students • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students' success • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related events • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred) • Ohio teaching certification/license in Special Education • Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities (e.g., autism, learning disabilities, emotional disturbances) • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and support staff • Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their fullest potential

Compensation & Benefits:
