Guitar Teacher/Missionary (Virtual)

We are currently seeking a guitar teacher (virtual) to join the team as soon as possible. If you can also teach other instruments, even better!

Not just a music teacher in a private or group studio. Be a part of something special!

Please, before you submit anything to us, read this whole listing. We sadly receive countless emails from unqualified individuals which is a tragic waste of time and advertising budget.

We are looking for committed *Christian believers that are college educated musicians or highly capable and experienced ones, artist/educators with a desire and passion to teach music as a mission and ministry. You must have passion and proficiency for your instrument. If you can teach piano as well that is a plus. Join a growing team of over 15 musician educators committed not just to teaching music well (but always that), but also to developing relationships, loving students, and ultimately sharing Christ.

We are also happy to work with someone who is highly capable but not yet degreed.

If you do not have a professional working knowledge and proficiency on all of your major, minor, melodic minor, and harmonic minor scales, at the least, please DO NOT contact us. You should ideally know your modes as well and must be able to read music at a professional level. If you need to learn them, learn them. If you cannot read music at an extremely high level, please do not contact us.

If you are not a baptized believer and member of a church in good standing, do not contact us.

Please keep in mind, this is NOT a full-time job, virtual enrollment isn't what in person is, but, we get calls, and we try to get the word out as much as we can. We need fun, energetic, highly relatable and outgoing people. You must love Jesus, be a committed follower, and a member of a local church or willing to be a part of our fellowship, which is a church planting mission. Please do NOT contact us if you are not a serious, passionate, committed follower of Jesus.

Lessons are tuition based and obviously depend on enrollment. All of our students pay monthly tuition, so even if they miss a lesson, teachers are still paid as long as students remain enrolled. 5 weeks of PAID vacation for faculty.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $42.50 - $52.50 per hour
