Remote Loan Officer

Unicorn Hunter is assisting a phenomenal client whose main office is located in Fort Mill, SC called Sage Home Loans Corporation. They are hiring remote, licensed Mortgage Loan Officers with proven success in a sales driven, remote environment. The Loan Officer will be responsible for communicating pricing terms and handling all client escalations during the mortgage process. As an LO, you will serve as a trusted advisor to their clients by assisting clients with an exceptional client experience regarding all appropriate mortgage steps in both refinance and purchase loan option.

This role is remote and available to all candidates nationwide.

What You’ll Do:
• Answer customer calls to discuss client’s needs and qualifications on available loan products.
• Maintain a high level of communication with the client throughout the entire loan process and obtain any required documentation.
• Make sales calls on warm potential leads that are interested in speaking with Sage loans specifically as well as existing clients to create additional opportunities and increase retention and a continued relationship..
• Monitor your active pipeline of leads and loans in process to achieve top conversion rates and maintain the quickest turnaround targets.

What We’re Looking For:
• At least 2 years of mortgage sales/loan origination experience
• Must be currently licensed with the NMLS
• Proven track record of in Sales and/or Sales Management
• Full understanding of all mortgage loan products (FHA, VA, Conventional)
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern consumer lending, including fair lending, privacy, RESPA, and TILA
• Strong phone sales skills
• Must be able to multitask with tight deadlines with high adaptability
• Must be able to build and maintain internal and external relationships to deliver high levels of service

Compensation
• Sage Loans pays a base plus commission. LO’s base pay is around $35,000 a year or $16 an hour based on your level of experience with additional production incentives paid monthly. *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
