The Senior Accountant's primary responsibility is to assist the controller in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close process, audit support and various accounting projects.

Role and Responsibilities
• Assist the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts as necessary.
• Review and approve client invoicing and employee expense reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of cash transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable approvals and ensure timely payments.
• Provide support to auditors during audits, including detail testing and preparation of financial statements.
• Contribute to various accounting projects as assigned by the Controller.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in month-end close procedures and audit preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft BC, NetSuite, etc.).
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a supervisory or mentoring role.
