About the position

The Director of Finance for Maybelline and Essie at L'Oréal is a strategic role responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis within the Consumer Products Division. This position serves as a finance business partner, collaborating closely with marketing and other departments to ensure accurate financial management and compliance. The director will lead a high-performing team, manage budgets, and provide insights to senior management, contributing to the overall financial performance of the brands.

Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a high performing finance team.
,
• Influence and provide thought leadership across the Consumer Products Division.
,
• Direct the coordination and administration of the annual business plan, budget, and three-year plan.
,
• Prepare, analyze, and transmit divisional finance reports in accordance with corporate requirements.
,
• Manage cost control and conduct budget meetings with departmental managers.
,
• Serve as the primary support for all finance-related issues for operating departments.
,
• Inform senior management about financial conditions within the assigned area.
,
• Lead ad-hoc financial strategic projects and coordinate fund reallocations.
,
• Liaise with project management, manufacturing, and accounting for financial activities.
,
• Perform supervisory tasks including interviewing, training, and performance management.

Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including supervisory/management experience.
,
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration, or Accounting required.
,
• MBA or CPA preferred.
,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
,
• Excellent leadership, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
,
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
,
• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
,
• Experience with Power BI and visualization dashboards is a plus.
,
• Financial reporting experience and use of SAP highly desirable.
,
• Data analytics skills are a plus.
