Financial Analyst - Command Center Software

Description:
• This role will play a key role in helping the Command Center Software business manage R&D expenses and investments
• The analyst will partner extensively with our Engineering and Product leaders to help quantify our product roadmap
• The analyst will serve as subject matter expert to planning and tracking our employee expenses, other Operating Expenses (OpEx) and Capital Expenses (CapEx)
• Primary areas of focus will include employee hiring and expense tracking, R&D planning, product roadmap quantification (in partnership with our business partners and other Finance teams) and business case facilitation.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with headcount and other opex planning, preferably supporting Engineering and Product teams.

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business • 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a FP&A role • FP&A experience in a corporate environment • Successful track record working with business partners (i.e. engineering or product teams) to solve problems • Experience planning headcount, expense, capital planning and tracking • Able to work independently and comfortable leading meetings as the finance representative • Ability to translate key business drivers to financial outcomes through analysis and communicate business insights from financial metrics and operational data • Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to develop new methods and processes • Proven record of successful collaboration with teams outside of Finance • Expert in Excel and Google Sheets • Experience with Smartview and Tableau a plus
