Responsibilities
 Develop a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
 Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
 Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
 Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
 Balance the general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
 Maintain historical records by filing documents.
 Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence, filing reports, and advising management on necessary actions.
 Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
 Proven experience in accounting roles
 Strong analytical and organizational skills
