Accounts Receivable and Financial Services Support

Meridian University is seeking a professional, personable, and responsible team member to oversee student accounts. In this role, you will perform accounts receivable, maintain financial accounts, assist with financial aid program support, and communicate with Meridian University's graduate program students.
Classification: Part Time
Location: Hybrid (In-Person/Remote) at Meridian University's Los Angeles Center in Santa Monica
Required Qualifications:  Skilled in mathematics  Basic financial literacy  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Strong attention to detail and tendency toward methodical approaches  Strong sense of responsibility and accountability  Capacity for critical thought and problem-solving  Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications:  Experience in billing and processing, accounts receivable, and/or accounts payable  Familiarity with Salesforce  Familiarity with Microsoft 365 programs (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
Job responsibilities:  Oversee student accounts  Monitor and follow up on student financial accounts status  Collect payments and review charges  Provide financial aid program support  Keep detailed, accurate records  Ensure compliance with university procedures for student enrollment  Communicate proactively and reactively with students and vendors via email and phone  Perform data entry  Manage projects to meet deadlines
