JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for reviewing unpaid invoices assigned in ETM System on all carriers. Maintains accuracy and production to ensure invoices are being processed effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Reviews ETM worklist to identify potential problem areas  Contacts appropriate carriers to inquire on unpaid claims via websites and/or phone calls  Reviews AR trends to report any consistent errors identified that affect claims from being processed correctly  Maintain knowledge of ETM system  Participates in monthly meeting with No Response/Billing Supervisor  Communicates with No Response/Billing Supervisor for unusual circumstances that may include adjustments, denials, fee schedules, claims, etc.  Performs any and all duties as directed by Senior Representative, No Response/Billing Supervisor and Accounts Receivable Manager
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
 High school diploma or equivalent required
 Minimum two years previous medical billing experience preferred with emphasis on research and claim denials in Accounts Receivable
 Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing and health care reimbursement; Medicare and Medicaid preferred
 Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
 Excellent oral and written communication
 Must be computer literate; Microsoft Office preferred
 Excellent follow-up skills
 Excellent organizational skills
