Account Management Director
Posted 2025-04-06A challenging opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to join American Express Global Business Travel as an Account Management Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading innovative account management strategies and growing profitability across a portfolio of global multi-national accounts.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering data-driven, analytical approaches to client travel programs in a consultative manner. You will also have the ability to identify business opportunities, communicate Amex GBT's value proposition, and develop strategic visions for account plans and action plans.
Key responsibilities will include:
 Researching marketplaces and competitor products to highlight the value that distinguishes Amex GBT products
 Developing an in-depth understanding of key business drivers, organizational culture, and competitive positions of clients
 Leading global efforts for assigned portfolios across 4 regions and 50+ countries, guiding regional market leads in supporting client global goals/initiatives
 Sales efforts to deliver multiple revenue streams and further penetrate accounts, focusing on driving non-transaction, premium revenue
What we're looking for:
 5+ years of global account/client management experience with strong people leadership skills
 Previous customer/client-facing experience and client relationship management skills with global clients
 Proven success in consultative selling, with demonstrated success growing client revenue and profitability
 Ability to communicate Amex GBT's value proposition and executive level presentation skills up to C-Suite
 Demonstrated ability to build strategic vision, account plans, action plans, set and measure goals
