Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk II based in MEMPHIS, Tennessee. In this role, you will be executing a variety of tasks related to financial records and customer accounts, utilizing your skills in Microsoft Excel, database management, and various other accounting software systems.
Responsibilities
 Efficiently process customer credit applications
 Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records
 Actively monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
 Conduct payment research and posting duties
 Utilize specialized accounting software to debit, credit, and total accounts
 Produce and issue financial statements, bills, invoices, and account statements in adherence to established procedures
 Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data for the purpose of maintaining financial records
 Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with other accounting software to manage financial information
 Adhere to federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting
 Demonstrate critical thinking and attention to detail in all tasks.
Requirements
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
 Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and principles
 Ability to process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
 Strong research skills to resolve account discrepancies
 Familiarity with databases and spreadsheets for maintaining financial records
 Knowledge of About Time and other accounting software systems
 Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses as required
 Understanding of regulations related to account receivables
 Experience in credit management and understanding of debit-credit relationships
 Ability to prepare financial statements and financial notes
 Adherence to company policies and procedures
 Knowledge of general ledger maintenance
 Strong written communication skills for clear and effective correspondence
 Critical thinking skills to solve complex financial problems
 Familiarity with various computer programs relevant to the role
