CBIZ Individual Insurance Solutions, a member of CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services Inc., is seeking a Remote Assistant Case Manager to join our team. As a leading provider of life insurance products and professional services, we value professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit who are ready to grow and contribute to our success.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
 Monitor case progress and provide status updates to advisors and team members
 Review application information, identify potential issues, and seek solutions proactively
 Maintain positive relationships with financial advisors, underwriters, and team members
 Continuously seek ways to improve processes and services
 Demonstrate a positive "one-team" attitude and drive for industry-leading service
 Participate in new business administrative application processing and associated tasks
Preferred Qualifications
 3+ years of life insurance case management experience
 Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
 Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in overcoming obstacles
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SmartOffice, PaperClip, and IGo is a plus
 Life insurance license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
 Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
 Must be available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours to ensure alignment with the team and client schedules
 Policy Owner Service experience is a plus
Minimum Qualifications
 High School diploma or GED required
 Less than 3 years customer service experience in the insurance industry required
 Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
 Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
 Effective customer service skills
 Proficient use of applicable technology
 Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
 Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
Key Evaluation Factors
 Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities
 Familiarity with case management concepts and life insurance products
 Experience in new business application processing and underwriting functions
 Outgoing personality with demonstrated team-building skills
 Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $50,000-$55,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
