Overview

The Clinical Nurse (CN) is an RN who provides hands-on care to patients in an outpatient Oncology Nurse-led Clinic, practicing in an evidence-based manner and within the Scope of Practice of the California Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience, preferably in oncology.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required within 3 months.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
• Ability to manage rapidly changing situations.
• Experience in patient education and coaching.
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including lifting and bending.
