Nursing Supervisor Job Description

Regeis Care Center is actively seeking a Registered Nurses (RN) Supervisor to join our dynamic team of professionals! Duties and Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Nursing staff
  • Oversee patient care activities and ensure adherence to established standards of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of nursing staff and provide feedback for improvement
  • Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow
  • Coordinate and facilitate staff training and development programs
  • Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care plans and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in electronic health records
  • Reporting to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care within the facility.
    Requirements:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Proven experience as a Nurse Manager or similar leadership role
  • Knowledge of SigmaCare/MatrixCare a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile processing, anatomy, patient care, discharge planning, ICD-10 coding, IV infusion, and workers compensation law
  • Excellent clinical skills with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients effectively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of nurses
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36.25 per week
