Indivisible is hiring a Director of Major Gifts. Reporting to the National Development Director, this position will lead major gifts fundraising at Indivisible to meet ambitious, multi-million dollar annual targets by cultivating and stewarding existing major donors, building a pipeline and moves management strategy for solicitations, ensuring high rates of renewals, and prospecting new donors. As a member of the departmentâs leadership team, the Director of Major Gifts will play a critical part in developing and executing multi-channel fundraising strategies, maintaining a strong, inclusive team culture, and fostering a culture of philanthropy across the organization.
The Director of Major Gifts will join a high-performing, collaborative, and dedicated Development team of 7, tasked with raising $10+ million annually. The ideal candidate for this role is a thoughtful, highly organized, results-driven team leader with a deep knowledge of progressive philanthropic and political spaces and a track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts. They should have a keen interest in helping to resource the Indivisible movement and a shared commitment to Indivisibleâs core principles and theory of change.
We are hiring for the Director of Major Gifts position immediately. This is a remote position, however candidates located in the CA, DC, or NY metro areas are strongly preferred. The Director of Major Gifts position is full-time, with a minimum salary of $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
