Role Summary
Weâre growing fast, and we need someone whoâs just as excited about scaling a team as we are. Right now, our People Team is a mighty crew of two, and weâre looking for our third teammateâsomeone whoâs fired up about owning talent acquisition while also jumping in on key HR initiatives that make tvScientific a kick*ss place to work.

What You'll DoÂ
Recruitment (80%) â Make Candidates Excited to Join tvSci
- Own full-cycle recruitment for technical (software engineers) and non-technical (sales, ops, etc.) roles, from sourcing to offer stage.
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand their needs and ensure weâre bringing in top-tier talent.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines using Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, fast feedback, and a smooth process from first touch to final offer.
- Lead interview process optimization, making sure weâre aligned on decision-making, training interviewers, and keeping hiring timelines tight.

HR Operations & Process Optimization (20%) â Keep Us Running Smoothly
- Seamless onboarding: Make sure new hires start off strong with well-organized preboarding and first-day experiences.
- HR tech & workflows: Keep things efficient in Paylocity, Greenhouse, and other HR systemsâbecause nobody loves clunky processes.
- Interview excellence: Help train hiring teams on interview best practices and create consistency in our hiring process.
- Keep hiring on track with hyper-organized processes, structured workflows, and a âno candidate left behindâ approach.
- Ensure consistency in interviews, decision-making, and timely feedback to candidates.
- Automate where possible (we donât believe in unnecessary manual work).
- Constantly look for ways to improve the way we recruit, onboard, and engage talent.

Youâll Be Successful in This Role if You Have/Are
- 6+ years of experience in both HR Business Partnering and full-cycle recruitment, ideally at a startup.
- You know how to recruit in a fast-paced environment â youâve screened software engineers, sales professionals, and other high-impact roles, and youâre comfortable assessing both skills and cultural fit.
- Hiring process wizard â Greenhouse, Paylocity, and LinkedIn Recruiter? You know âem, love âem, and can run a smooth, efficient hiring process with them.
- Highly organized and detail-obsessed â nothing slips through the cracks on your watch. You follow up, follow through, and make sure everyone (candidates, hiring managers, your teammates) knows whatâs happening next.
- You care deeply about candidate experience â whether they get the job or not, every candidate walks away feeling valued, respected, and excited about tvSci.
- Thrive in a remote environment â you love autonomous teamwork. Youâre proactive, independent, and communicative while staying highly connected to the team.
- A passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and experience implementing strategies to build diverse teams.
- A knack for data-driven recruitingâyou love using metrics to track success, spot bottlenecks, and continuously improve.

You May Also Have
- Experience recruiting for adtech, martech, or SaaS startupsâbonus points if youâve worked with high-growth teams.
- Familiarity with structured interviewing techniques to drive consistency and fairness in hiring decisions.
- A creative approach to sourcing and employer brandingâyou know how to tell a great story and attract top talent in competitive markets.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
