Retail Store Associates

Overview:
We are seeking individuals who have culinary experience or a passion for food. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them with their purchasing needs. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with food in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and provide them with product information and assistance
• Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their needs
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and workspace, including restocking shelves and arranging displays and maintaining sanitation standards
• Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate information to customers

Experience:

• Have a broad knowledge of cooking and the ability to share that knowledge with customers
• Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and merchandise displays
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell products and services.

• Basic knife skills

• Ability to accurately follow recipes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
