This role has been categorized as a Remote position. âRemoteâ employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in the following locations: Mexico.Â
What Youâll Do- Accelerate Velocity: Perform automated testing and API testing for complex applications and scenarios; locate and document edge cases by understanding the depth and intricacies of a project; assess possible risks and propose modifications to the acceptance criteria.Â
- Enhance Performance: Conduct performance testing for applications to evaluate their speed, scalability, and stability under varying loads.
- Expand Frameworks: Demonstrate proficiency at automation, API testing, or accessibility testing principles and solutions.Â
- Demonstrate Expertise: Present robust testing plans, metrics, and other valuable insight and direction during sprint review meetings; propose solutions and improvements to clients that improve our ability to deliver value.Â
- Guide Development: Serve as a technical SME in the sprint, ensuring successful delivery of the sprint commitment by prioritizing testing efforts, enhancing acceptance criteria, etc.Â
- You have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing methodologies. Are you an expert in both manual and automated testing? Demonstrate a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and experience with various testing frameworks and tools, including Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- You possess solid experience with API testing and automation tools. Are you proficient in utilizing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured to validate API functionality? Showcase your ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans that ensure API reliability and performance.
- You have a strong background in performance and security testing. Are you knowledgeable in tools like JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing and familiar with security testing methodologies? Illustrate your ability to identify vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks in applications to enhance overall quality.
- Automated Testing & Risk Assessment: Design, implement, and execute automated testing scripts for complex applications, including API testing. Identify edge cases and document them thoroughly, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Assess potential risks in the testing process and recommend modifications to the acceptance criteria to enhance product quality.
- Framework Development & Integration: Demonstrate proficiency in developing and expanding testing frameworks, utilizing automation tools and methodologies. Integrate accessibility testing principles into the QA process to ensure compliance and usability for all users, driving continuous improvements in testing practices.
- Testing Strategy & Metrics Presentation: Create and present detailed testing strategies, plans, and metrics during sprint review meetings. Provide stakeholders with valuable insights on testing outcomes and propose actionable improvements to enhance product delivery and quality assurance processes.
- Technical Guidance & Team Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in technical discussions during sprints, prioritizing testing efforts based on project needs. Collaborate closely with development teams to refine acceptance criteria and ensure that quality assurance objectives align with sprint commitments, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for quality.

 The salary range for this full-time position is $3,100 to $3,930 USD per month. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all LATAM locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
