The Role
As an Account Executive I, youâll be the driving force behind expanding Dockwaâs network of marinas and increasing revenue through the entire sales cycleâfrom prospecting and qualification to product demonstrations and deal closing. You will be on the front lines, capturing critical market feedback that shapes our product roadmap and marketing strategies. This role is integral to ensuring Dockwaâs continued success and innovation in the marina space.
What You Will Do:
Lead Management & ProspectingConduct outbound sales efforts (calls, emails, video meetings, in-person visits) to engage potential marina partners.Research and prioritize marina prospects within the CRM, identifying those that align with our ideal customer profile.Consultative Selling & QualificationQualify leads through comprehensive discovery, understanding each marinaâs goals, challenges, and processes.Conduct product demonstrations tailored to each prospectâs unique needs, clearly articulating Dockwaâs value proposition and return on investment.Deal Negotiation & ClosingPresent proposals and lead pricing discussions, ensuring deals are structured to benefit both the client and Dockwa.Overcome objections by showcasing ROI, aligning stakeholders, and managing contracts through to close.Relationship Building & Cross-Functional CollaborationBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at marinas.Collaborate with Customer Success and Implementation teams for seamless handoffs that set marinas up for long-term success.CRM Management & ForecastingAccurately forecast revenue and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline.Keep CRM data clean, documenting prospect information and market insights to inform future product or marketing initiatives.Continuous ImprovementGather and synthesize market feedback, relaying it to Product and Marketing teams to refine offerings and strategies.Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring smooth transitions for customers throughout the sales process. Qualifications:
2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.Proficiency with CRM tools for lead management and forecasting.Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills, with the ability to tailor deals within established guardrails.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct persuasive product demonstrations.Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies and a solid understanding of the customer persona (in this case, marinas)Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $70,000. Overall Total Earnings range for this role is $127,500 - $137,500 with the potential to earn more as commission is not capped. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, experience, qualifications and location.
