Job Description :

The Data Engineer works as part of an agile team, setting global standards and best practices while working with key stakeholders to implement, monitor and control Data Quality Rules on the Global Data Supply Chain. This role is a key member of a Data Operations team that ensures consistency and control across Data Incident and Data Change Management. The Data Engineer drives best-in-class standards and continuous improvement initiatives across a wide range of teams/disciplines.

The focus of the role will be to help data, which is published by local Data Operations teams, travel through the global supply chain in a manner that is monitored and controlled by D&Bâs standards.

Essential Key Responsibilities :

Develop business requirements by working with key stakeholders and effectively communicate technical requirements to implement teams.

Work under an ITSM framework, manage, communicate and implement incident and change management tickets.

Develop, control and maintain Data Quality Rules that can be implemented on Global platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop validation and verification procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data lineage.

Essential Skills :

Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field, with 2+ years of work experience.

Strong knowledge of data transformation processes, exposure to standard and complex datatypes. Knowledge of latest solutions in the market is a plus.

SQL skills required, Big Query experience preferred.

Experience using these languages to evaluate data quality, accuracy and completeness is preferred.

Knowledge of Data Operations methodology and data management approaches is preferred.

Knowledge of Service Now and/or Jira is an advantage.

Experience in managing stakeholders and project plans.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
