Our Registered Nurses facilitate relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing and science of professional nursing. Job Description
Essential Functions:
Adheres to the ANA Nursing Process (2010) for carrying out the following responsibilities: Â Retrieves detailed data that is significant to the healthcare consumer's health or situation. Â Assesses the assessment findings to determine the diagnosis or concerns. Â Illustrates anticipated impacts for a customized intervention tailored to the healthcare customer. Â Develops a strategic arrangement outlining steps and varying possibilities to achieve desired outcomes. Â Implements the recognized plan effectively. Ensures the patient moves forward according to the plan. Â Coordination of Care harmonizes the administration of care delivery. Â Strategies are employed in health education and health promotion to boost wellness and ensure safety. Â The consultation process conducted by the advanced practice registered nurse and nursing role specialist is geared towards impacting the identified plan, enhancing the abilities of others, and instigating change. Â Assesses the improvement in reaching set goals.

 A Registered Professional Nurse must adhere to the rules and guidelines established by the state in which they practice, as well as meet the standards and requirements outlined by regulatory bodies, accrediting organizations, and relevant laws.
 Abides by the ethical principles in the Code of Ethics for Nurses (ANA 2010).
Demonstrates mastery in using relevant technology and software to:
 Provide assistance in recording nursing activities and patient services.
 Get into other job-related applications required for being a participating and involved member of the company, including corporate email services, iLearn resources, employee engagement surveys, details regarding benefits and compensation, and organizational policies and guidelines.
 Actively seeks opportunities to enhance the quality of patient care delivery through innovative and creative problem-solving methods.

Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 60 days of hire or transfer; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
Regarding BLS certification: The department you are applying to may require BLS certification sooner than 60 days post transfer/hire. The hiring manager will discuss this with you if it is applicable.
Preferred:
Experience - 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
Education - Bachelors degree in Nursing
Physical Requirements:
Very Heavy work - exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occassionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects. Possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances. Requires the ability to work designated shift lengths (including 8 and 12 hours), which may include night shifts or occasional irregular hours.
