The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is the strategic liaison between HR and the organisation. This person will report to the CEO and will work directly with line managers to help the organisation hit its strategic goals. This is in addition to implementing HR policies, practices, and processes.
This role requires business acumen, strategic thinking, change management and talent management skills. A successful HRBP also needs to be a great communicator, collaborator and be adept at building relationships.
Job Description:
 Create an annual People strategy that supports strong performance, positive culture, employee engagement and retention
 Maintain, develop, and implement employee processes and procedures, utilising HR systems
 Provide ongoing maintenance of employee data and change workflows across internal and associated external systems, encompassing candidate management, new-hire onboarding, and organisational change
 Be responsible for data/file management processes related to new-hire and termination processes across all databases for personnel
 Contribute to design, configuration and communication activities for ongoing and annual benefits and performance
 Support in the production of key performance data linked to people activities and work with line managers to drive continued improvement programmes
 Ensure that the companyÂs procedures comply with employment regulations
 Ensure, alongside the wider Leadership Team, that we have a workplace where everyone is equipped and motivated to play their part in hitting KPIs to deliver our vision
 Handle any disciplinary processes and formal grievances with a robust approach by always referring back to legislation
 Develop and implement systems for identifying and developing talent; identification of critical roles and succession planning with SLT
 Maintain a culture centered around our values
 Drive performance and employee engagement by presenting constructive data to CEO
 Manage a companyÂs appraisal system by supporting managers to conduct focused and productive appraisals
 Monitoring various aspects of an employeeÂs performance, such as attendance and sick leave
 Work with our in-house employment lawyers as and when needed
Person Specification:
 Passion for our vision and aligned to our values
 Confident advising, influencing and constructively challenging the status quo on people matters to ensure the charityÂs success
 Substantial experience in a similar role, ideally from a commercial background
 Providing robust support to help the charity have a team that is committed to delivering its aims and goals
 Broad knowledge of current employment law and how this practically affects the organisational operations and employee relations
 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
 Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
 Experience with organisational design and change
 Someone who can operate in a fast moving environment.
 Someone who is confident with Excel and HR systems
Contract type: Permanent, Part-time, three-day week (option to be term time only).
