What youÂll be doing...
The Talent Management Consultant is responsible for providing complex data analytics, reporting, and project management to support our executive search and advisory process with the goal of ensuring Verizon has a strong talent pool for senior leader and director positions across the enterprise. This role is an integral part of our Talent and Executive Staffing Team and requires a unique set of analytical, technical, communication, collaboration and discretionary judgment skills.
Specific responsibilities include:
Synthesizing and leveraging statistics and insights from large volumes of data to help the Talent team with developing storylines and strategies to drive the enterprise talent agenda.
Identifying, analyzing, and reporting talent trends and opportunities utilizing a variety of reporting tools and data sources, including Workday, PeopleSoft, Cognos, 3rd Party Data and Intelligence, Excel, Google Sheets and special data queries.
Preparing analytics and materials to help with storytelling in executive presentation format for our HR leadership team, CEO direct reports and their teams, CEO, and Board of Directors. This work requires gathering, scrubbing, analyzing, and synthesizing a wide range of information.
Using Google and Microsoft suite of tools to design simple, intuitive, and insightful in brand templates to support all aspects of the talent management process across the enterprise, including but not limited to assessment of leadership capabilities and potential, nominations to leadership positions, development plan audits, talent calibrations/reviews and succession planning slates for open leadership positions.
Enabling the Talent Management team and those utilizing the reports by providing feedback, insights, and recommendations on report enhancements, reporting tools and software functioning while organizing and managing system updates from the talent perspective for data integrity and reliability.
Developing executive ready director and above talent profiles and org charts to ensure we have the appropriate information required for search and advising, onboarding, and talent calibrations/reviews.
Creating and develop a tailored onboarding strategy for external senior leaders through collaboration with SVP Talent & DEI, HR COE leaders, HR business partners, and communications team to expedite integration and transitions.
Collaborating with other HR COEs and Business Partners to create actionable insights that help drive business decision making.
Organizing data and materials to ensure confidential record keeping, data reliability, and ease of access.

YouÂll need to have:
BachelorÂs degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in data analytics.
Experience creating executive level presentation.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
One or more years of experience in a Talent COE or as an HRBP.
High proficiency in PeopleSoft, Cognos, and Workday.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to create high impact talent analytics and recommendations.
Ability to develop queries to generate reports and/or gather data from multiple sources.
High proficiency in Google Suite (specifically, Slides and Sheets) and Microsoft Office (specifically, PowerPoint and Excel) with the ability to leverage functions such as Pivot Tables, V-Look Up, etc to create easy to follow and insightful presentations.
Experience in Project Management, Human Resources processes, systems, policies and data.
Familiar with the agile methodology.
Worked with reporting applications such as Cognos.
Excellent communication, organizing, prioritization, and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
Highly trustworthy, with a track record of working with very confidential information, views, and perspectives.
