The Arizona Department of Gaming is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Analyst (Intermediate) to join our esteemed HR team. As the Human Resources Analyst, you will be vital in supporting HR operations. Under the direction of the Human Resources Supervisor, you will handle various HR tasks, including leave management, benefits administration, recruitment, and employee relations. You will also ensure compliance with state personnel policies and manage data entry in HR systems.
Your Impact:
 HR Operations: Handle onboarding, I-9 verification, personnel action forms, and HRIS entries. Manage learning management program access, generate reports, and ensure compliance with performance management requirements.
 Benefits Administration: Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, life changes, leave management, worker's compensation, and ADA compliance. Prepare documentation and assist with benefits billing and related tasks.
 Recruitment Support: This position assists in the recruitment and selection process, supports interview scheduling, and manages fingerprint clearances for new hires.
 HRIS Management: Maintain and update personnel records in electronic and manual formats, and ensure accurate data entry in the human resources information system.
 Customer Service: Provide excellent HR customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and assisting employees with HR-related matters.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:
As an Human Resources Analyst with the Department of Gaming you will:
 Interpret and apply State Personnel System Personnel Rules, and policies and procedures
 Handle Onboarding and I-9 verification process
 Prepare personnel action forms; enter new hires, promotions, demotions, salary changes, etc., into HRIS
 Generate on-demand and custom reports; manages access to and support for learning management program; monitor performance management reports and compliance
 Respond to a wide variety of personnel inquires.
 Manage the agency's benefits
 Reviews FMLA requests and certification forms
 Prepare related documentation and communication for HR Administrator's review and signature.
 Attend meetings and trainings relevant to area of assignment; may serve as a back-up to other HR staff in classification, compensation, recruitment, and selection.
 Ability to travel on state business when necessary
 Maintain human resources information system records in electronic and manual formats for the agency/ employees.
 Maintain knowledge trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law Provide human resource customer service both internally and externally for the agency, employees and future employees.

 One year of experience in Human Resources
 Combination of work experience/education that meet the knowledge, skills and abilities
Pre-Employment Requirements:
This position requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driverÂs license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driverÂs license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11).
All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
